About us
BURPENGARY CRANE HIRE P/L was formed over 30 years ago with the intent to supply general crane hire to the local building and construction industry.
In 1997, the single crane business was purchased and we set about expanding and developing a new and much broader customer base. Our philosophy hasn’t changed over the years and we still proudly offer our customers the same high level of service and professionalism that we did when we started.
Today we have the largest fleet of late model cranes and equipment in the Moreton Bay Region and service local builders, along with major civil and commercial construction projects, high density unit and housing projects, government departments and the quarry and mining industry.
This diverse customer base enables us to gain experience in all facets of general crane hire and it ensures we stay up to date with all regulations that govern our industry.

Minimum requirements for all roles:
General crane hire experience will be highly regarded
General Construction Induction (White/ Blue card)
Ability to work weekends and shift hours as required
Ability to follow and understand all safety, policy, and induction requirements including random Drug and Alcohol testing
Australian citizenship is required for all positions
Crane operator minimum requirements:
Multiple positions available
High risk tickets: C2, CN, DG, RI, minimum (C6,C1,CO preferred)
Licence: HR minimum (HC/MC preferred)
Minimum 3 years experience operating cranes in the general crane hire industry
Experience operating non slew and slew cranes including fly/needle set up
Experience with either non-slew or slew cranes is sufficient
Experience driving/operating cranes in urban environments
Ability to perform Rigging duties when required
Rigger position minimum requirements:
High risk tickets: DG, RI
Licence: HR (HC/MC preferred)
Minimum 3 years of experience required for Rigger positions
The following criteria is not essential but will be beneficial to the successful applicant:
High-risk tickets: RA, CO, LF, WP, W@H
Experience operating:
60t & 90t Liebherr All-Terrain Cranes
13t & 20t Tadano City Cranes
15t, 22t, 25t SL, & 40t Terex Franna Cranes
All applicants will need to provide previous employment references and demonstrate experience.
Remuneration will be based on level of experience and licences held.
